MISSION

The mission of Kids In WaterLand is to provide rehab and therapy services to adults and children and adolescents with physical, occupational, speech, and behavioral health challenges in achieving and becoming healthy and functioning individuals.
Kids in WaterLand is under the umbrella of Worldcare International, which is duly incorporated under the laws of the State of Georgia since December 16, 1997. Worldcare International Corporation DBA Kids In WaterLand Rehab and Therapy Services has provided a variety of therapy services to adults, children and adolescents, and families for over 19 years. Kids In WaterLand has dedicated its services to adults, children and adolescents who are experiencing physical, occupational, speech, and behavioral health challenges.

Kids In WaterLand Rehab and Therapy Services

Kids In WaterLand (KIW) provides a spectrum of services to children and families who are experiencing physical, occupational, speech, and behavioral challenges.  KIW has been providing services for over 19 years and has proven to be helping the community because of its dedication and commitment to support and treat children and families by accepting their unique values, strength, and cultural diversities.

Kids In WaterLand provides licensed and trained physical, occupational, and speech therapists in helping and caring for adults, children, and adolescents with managing their functioning challenges. Kids In WaterLand provides licensed and skilled therapists who utilize evidence- based treatment modalities, thus, helping them attain their treatment goals.

REHAB AND THERAPY SERVICES


Kids In WaterLand provides staff who  treat individuals with physical, occupational, speech, and behavioral problems with tender helping care. Staff are people-centered therapists who assist individuals to achieve their plans and goals to become productive people of the community. Also, Kids In WaterLand utilizes a person-centered based care that results in faster rehabilitation and therapy. Treatment education is incorporated in our approach to help individuals, parents, guardians and other family members understand the significance and value of having someone to turn to for help, assistance, and support.

PHYSICAL THERAPY

Children, Adolescents, and Adults

Kids In Waterland provides Physical Therapy services to individuals who are experiencing physical functioning challenges due to variety of diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Cerebral Palsy (CP), Congenital Disorders, Developmental Delays, Down Syndrome, Gait Deficits, Gross motor Deficits, Mitochondrial Myopathy, Prematurity, Sensory Processing and Integration Dysfunction, Spina Bifida, Stroke, Torticollis and Plagiocephaly, and Traumatic Brain Injuries.


Kids In WaterLand modalities in treatment are Neurodevelopmental Treatment, Aquatic- and Land-based Therapy, Kinesiotaping, Interactive Metronome and other evidence-based practices.

Occupational and Speech Therapy

Children, Adolescents, and Adults

Kids In WaterLand provides occupational and speech therapy services to individuals for them to develop better social skills and learn to interact with other children, to learn independence and acceptance and become better prepared to assimilate with family members, peers in the community and other students in school, to grow and learn physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially. Variety of diagnoses addressed to are: Apraxia-motor and verbal, Articulation Disorders, Expressive and Receptive Language Disorders, Failure to thrive, Fine Motor Deficits, Hearing and Vision Impairments, Oral Motor, Feeding and Swallowing Disorders, Sensory Processing, and Integration Dysfunction.


Occupational and Speech Therapists are licensed, trained and skilled, and experienced in Augmentative Communication, Adaptive Seating and Positioning, Beckman Oral Motor Certification, and Neurodevelopmental Treatment.
